The Cherokee Nation was in one of the most difficult periods in their history as they were forced to remove. Many Cherokee people were made to leave their homeland and move west. This was a painful journey, which resulted in huge loss. Numerous lives were lost and numerous families were affected. However, the Cherokee people never did. They brought their identity with them and started to build their country in a different location. Once removed, the Cherokee people did their best to establish a new life.
